2025 Scholarship Program
The Oklahoma City Black Chamber of Commerce (OKCBCC) proudly announces the 2025 Scholarship Program, which aims to support the next generation of leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs committed to advancing economic power within Black communities. This initiative underscores our mission to foster economic development, empower individuals, and strengthen the foundations of our community through education and entrepreneurship. This is in partnership with the Oklahoma City Black Chamber Foundation.
The OKCBCC will award two scholarships to deserving students, each receiving $1,500.
These scholarships are intended to support currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students in any academic discipline who demonstrate a passion for business, entrepreneurship, or the advancement of economic opportunities in Black communities.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be currently enrolled as undergraduate or graduate students at an accredited institution.
A demonstrated interest in business, entrepreneurship, or initiatives to advance economic empowerment within Black communities.
A completed application form, including all required materials (see below).
A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Unofficial Transcript: From the applicant’s current academic institution
Timeline:
Application Deadline: February 17, 2025
Recipient Notification: February 24, 2025
Award Presentation: March 7, 2025, at the OKCBCC Annual Luncheon
Selection Process:
A selection committee appointed by the OKCBCC will review all applications and evaluate candidates based on the following criteria:
Alignment with the mission and values of the OKCBCC.
Academic and professional achievements.
Demonstrated commitment to advancing economic power within Black communities.
Strength of the personal statement and recommendation letter(s).
