This workshop will explore the primary sources of stress experienced by business owners and examine the effects of that stress on both personal and professional levels. Attendees will receive practical strategies for reducing and managing stress, prioritizing both physical and mental well-being, and enhancing productivity.
About the Presenter
Candice Jackson | Speak Life Holistic Wellness, Owner/Operator
Candice Jackson is the owner and operator of Speak Life Holistic Wellness, an organization that offers health and wellness events, prenatal and postpartum doula services.
Candice also currently serves as a Program Manager at Public Strategies, Inc. She has been instrumental in the development and implementation of Family Expectations Solo; a program that provides workshops on healthy relationships, parent education, and individual coaching services to single parents. Prior to her work at Public Strategies, Candice provided consultation and regulation services for the Oklahoma State Department of Health and Oklahoma Department of Human Services.
Candice received her Master of Science in Family and Child Studies from the University of Central Oklahoma, where she now serves as a Graduate Student Evaluator for the Human Environmental Sciences program.
Candice has extensive experience in event planning and coordination, training and development, and public speaking. She leads a local book club and spends time volunteering in the community. In addition to this work, Candice is the owner and operator of Sister & Cookie’s, a local bakery, for which she successfully obtained certification as an Airport Concessionaire Disadvantaged Business Enterprise through the Oklahoma State Department of Transportation.
