Johnny Whitfield Jr. is an accomplished leader with over two decades of engineering and managerial experience across the Automotive, Plastics, and Utility industries. Currently serving as the Vice President of Business Intelligence and Supply Chain at Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company (OG&E), Johnny is responsible for driving continuous improvement results and enabling the organization to become more data-driven through the effective use of technology.
Johnny's education includes a BS in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and a MS in Business Administration from Southern Nazarene. He has a proven track record of establishing multimillion-dollar cost savings programs, streamlining workflows, and developing strategic business directions. Throughout his career, Johnny has been successful in utilizing fact-based information and analysis to support the planning and forecasting process, ensuring resources are available to meet demand.
In addition to his corporate roles, Johnny is an entrepreneur and owner of a property management and investment company, where he has demonstrated his ability to generate profits by leveraging capital and optimizing operational costs. He is an innovative leader who will be a catalyst in driving operational excellence with data analytics and business intelligence while ensuring fiduciary responsibility.
Johnny is also actively involved in giving back to his community, serving on the Board of the Urban League of Oklahoma City, Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, and as a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity Inc. He and his family are members of Peoples Church, where he serves diligently.
Johnny resides in Edmond, Oklahoma with his wife and three daughters, where he instills in them the motto learned from his high school basketball coach, "Everyday, in every way we get a little better."
